whats up got some questions I'm rebuilding a 88 daytona shelby Z with the 2.2 TII and a 5-speed and need some pistons. The block cleaned up at .040" and I can't get mahle .040" over pistons,I found a set of sealed power pistons p/n 533P1 but according to advance auto website they are for vin E motor and I have the vin A motor.Dose anybody know if these will work? I'm not gonna boost the snot out of it its gonna be my dailey driver but I was planning on just a cam and computer for like 14-15 lbs. of boost.

The p/n should be 533P ... 1.00mm over.
They're good pistons. I have then in my engine (VIN "A") @20-25 psi. of boost.
Some fellas on here have run them twice what your looking to do.

I've used those pistons in every motor I've built, had no problems with them.

agreed....used thier 9.0 /1 in a short fuse 8 psi turbo setup (experiment)
couldent keep a h/d gasket in the rig, but never melted a piston.......
