What is a turbo timer?

Reading this thread, and considering the event of the remote start systems and turbo timers, got me wondering how certain jurisdictions are handling this. Some places will ticket you for "Leaving an unattended vehicle running". I got one right in front of my own house years ago when I lived in Michigan.
Anyone running one ever had to deal with that?

yeah, that would be the best solution punkslip, but I think it'd be real expensive. Mayby if you were gonna go to an electronic external oil pump anyways. If you had that setup you'd probably just have it set on a temp switch. Do they even make electronic external oil pumps? Probably cost more than all my cars combined : D

I never even thought of that DartGT, but that is a really good point.
