I am more looking for sound then performance.

how easy is it to replace the stock recirculating typ valve with a BOV, or will removing that valve from the airbox give me that BOV type sound?

simply taking it out of the air box will give you something at least. not the aqueaky toy sound of a ricer bov, but you will certainly hear it.

I nver run a filter on mine.. If you run more than 11psi in the future, you might consider upgrading to a better BOV, the stocker leaks like mad over 11psi..

well it is getting around 10psi, I have never seen what max is but going up a hill in 4th gear at 4500RPM it was right around 10psi and flared up when I shifted

as far as a BOV do I just take that factory valve off and put it on that existing hose? I always see turbo's and BOV for sale localy so I will pick one up this comming pay if I can find one for a good price.
