Hi,
We have a stock SRT-4 turbo after my son upgraded his to a AGP setup. Would it be a good update on my 89 T1 Voyager with the Mitsu setup? I realize that the oil and coolant lines would need updating. Thanks..

You would have a hard time fitting the srt-4 turbifold to the 8v head on your voyager.

Hoping that the SRT's Mitsubishi TD04 turbo would mount up to the T1 manifolds, being a Mitsu setup also. Newbie here to this stuff. thanks.

the SRT/PT turbos have an integrated exhaust manifold and turbine housing (cast as 1 single peice). plus the ports on the SRT manifold are squarish....

so you'll have to find or make a custom turbine housing to be able to bolt it onto a TD turbo ex mani.

i don't remember, but aren't the SRT turbo's smaller than the mitsu's we use?

Nope, bigger with well matched "today technology" turbine blades. Ours wouldn't touch that one.

plus the turbo on an SRT-4 spins opposite of a typical turbo, plus the whole manifold set up is crazy, but they did it like that for the tight packaging in the PT Cruzurs, its kool but also a pain too cuz if you wanna upgrade yer turbo you gotta buy a header, lol

good luck, but i don't see it being worth the headache

I say you sell that turbo on ebay, and take the added dough to help purchase something bigger for the mini.
