87 Shelby Z

Is an 87 shelby Z a T1 or T2 and would it be Mitsu or Garrett??

If its a 5-speed then its a TII. (A-555 tranny)
If its an auto then its a TI.
Thats the way they came stock. Same goes for 88's

and its a garret turbo for either TI or TII. I think Mitsu's started in 89.
