Ok, one of my friends was talking about a 1g dsm crush bov. He knows nothing about it other than he was told you put it in a vice and crush it.

follow the instructions on the dodge garage. It'll hold just as much and you won't look stupid with a crushed can sitting in your intake. If you wanted to get really trick you could modify it even further so that the bottom of the actuator holds vacume (like in a canister) and then it would hold more boost than you or I will ever see.

DO NOT Crush it! Modify it like the Dodge Garage says too! Crushing it will slow it's response. Modify it and plug the modified line into a hobbs switch that seals it off at 18psi so it won't leak when you go above that. then at lower boost it'll open and be quick responding again.

I think it it's junk - I'd rather buy one and modify it. They're not that expensive, and work much nicer. If you don't have anything right now, then I guess it's better than nothing, but if you have a little bit of money and time, just modify one.
