Can you remove the wastegate housing on a garrett t2 in a daytona without pulling the turbo itself? I need to port my wastegate to relieve my boost creep and dont want to remove the entire head or turbo?

I think there is room enough up there to do that. I'm assuming that in this case, the bolts haven't been in place 10 years, so it should come apart quite easily.

i just had the turbo/head out a few months ago, so it should be nice and lubed. i just dont want to pull it all again to port the damn sv. i should have done it while it was out.. ooops!

The in-car s/v swap is no problem. I just swapped over to a TU 3in and it was pretty easy since I used antiseize when I upgraded to a 2.5 a while back.
