thanks cris ill use it as a debugging guide when i get the turbo back on the car, the turbo was sold as rebuilt and 0 miles, i took it to the shop and they told me it looks perfect, as for the set up its a tbi to turbo convertion and i made the reurn line with a turbonetics oil return flange hooks up to a 5/8 fitting and to a 5/8 hose its real big and the hose dosnt have serious angles to it,
before removing the turbo i did this:
remove the oil supply line, blocked it of the sending unit, and i added oil to the turbo manually, i turned on for 10 seconds and added oil and it didnt smoke then sometimes it would smoke a little , no reving to the engine was done
i do not have a pvc valve i have the valve cover open to athmosphere
i used a gasket for the oil retun flange in the turbo , no rtv
