Just discovered a decent amount of oil in my intercooler pipes. Specifically around the reducer from the compressor housing to the first bottom pipe. What causes this. Turbo is a T3 Garrett from a T2 Dodge.

My turbo still spools to 15 effortlessly. But this has me bothered.

Either the turbo is leaking oil or your pcv valve system is leaking oil.

I have a dismanteld PCV system. No EGR valve. I'm running a heater hose off the valve cover outlet elbow to a small breather filter.

The only time this car smoked was right after completetion of converting to T2. That was probably due to oil build up burn off on the turbo housings. Otherwise, I haven't seen this car smoke, and I've been driving/racing it consistently for a month or more.

The turbo was purchased from Altered, as far as I know it never had any history. Slight shaft play, but that's not unusual. Nothing alarming, otherwise Swiftech would have killed me if I decided to run this turbo.
