this is the third time its happened.. every time i start boosting the motor... i know my af's are good i just installed an air fuel gauge... its like clockwork.. first the #4 cyclinder intake valve, then the number 3 a couple days later, then after a month of driving fine #2 goes... im starting to believe the pieces are tempered from being overheated and now are brittle... ? ive just been replacing them with dampeners from another head.. so maybe this time ill replace all the remaining ones...

this happen to anyone else?

you mean lifters? Our cars don't have hydraulic dampeners. I would just replace all the hydraulic lifters at one time ot eliminate failure opportunities.

could be caused by valve float, or sticky valve guides. I had this same problem on my race engines when the valve springs got week. I started to replace all the springs mid season and never had a failure again

btw, they are lash adjusters not lifters, lifters ride directly on the cam
