how bad is the damage?
Is it the compressor wheel, or the turbine?

Ok, so it's the wheel inside the turbo and not the exhaust manifold and WOW! It's wasted! So, new question... Would i be able to toss on the wheel from a mitsu? Or am i just going to have to get a new wheel? or do i sell it?? or, HELP ME!!!!!

Thanks,

Chris

I'm assuming you are talking about the wheel thats in the aluminum housing? Mitsu and garrett parts don't interchange. Did the wheel kiss the housing or were you playing "put rocks in the compressor inlet?" If it kissed the housing you need a new housing and a new wheel, if its just the wheel, then... duh you just need a new wheel. If you are going to go through the trouble of getting a new housing and a wheel, and getting it balanced you should go ahead and make it a hybrid. Oh, if there is enough play for the wheel to kiss the housing your hot side has probably been fubar'd too. Who sells just the wheel anyways?

DAMMIT!!!! Ya, its the one in the housing and it's just the wheel. I got it for free so i thought what the hell... If anybody has one for sale or knows where to get one, yell in my face.

Thanks,

Chris

Looks like regular 60 trim is $77 but they say call about the super 60?
