350 shot of nos! Would be a fun 10 sec ride! I hope you didnt buy that turbo already. Theres alot of places that money would have been better spent on a stock car. Bigger exhaust, better intercooler, custom smec just to name a few.

Go to www.thedodgegarage.com go to the turbo database section and read for a couple hours, then reread it again.

if you want 350hp your going to have to get a hybrid turbo. If your engine is a T1 then you will want to get T2 rods and forged pistons wouldnt be a bad idea, port the intake and get a better flowing exhaust. You may need/want to upgrade to a commonblock

If you want 250-300hp you can do it with a S60, but it would be easier with a hybrid. You don't have forged pistons, its also not the most desired block, although many have made that power level reliably with that block. Why would you bother putting a bigger turbo on without changing anything else? Slapping a big turbo on with a small intercooler, small exhaust, stock manifold, etc. is just chasing your tail with a big wad of money.

ok i think i've got what i need the new turbo im going to install is a hybrid im gettin a kit from fwd performance it comes with everything i need to install..is this a good idea?:
Everything you need to install a hybrid turbo in your t-1, t-2 or t-4 car. Kit includes your choice od a s46 or s50 trim turbo, with small or large housing and choice of exhaust wheel in a .63 Chrysler housing, along with a set of stainless steel turbo lines, custom oil return line, new wastegate can and billet bracket and a 2.5" swingvalve. Price seperately, this would cost $1071. Buy it in kit form and save $100

What are you goals first off? are you upgrading the intercooler? you should have a custom cal to take advantage of this turbo, and you should also install a 255 fuel pump, Air fuel guage and an EGT guage. The engine should be in good shape, good tuneup stuff, a nice 2.5 or 3 inch exhaust system on top of this.
