89 2.5 t1, auto, 3 bar map, stock injectors, intercooled, grainger valve, all new vacuum lines with clamps on a vacuum block, dsm bov, little mitsu turbo. cannot get it to hold at 15-16psi. on wot will hit 15/16 max then fall off to 12. is this due to a weak waste gate can? even with the wastegate line unplugged still maxes at 15/16. air fuel gauge always in blue (rich) even with stock injectors. Using d-cal 3bar cal. i suppose it could be a leak but have triple checked all hoses and clamps. any other suggestions besides the can?

With stock injectors, you don't want to go over 15psi unless you like melted pistons.

got some +40s putting in. was just trying to work out boost issues before i change something again. weird part tho is even at 15 (momentarily) the a/f gauge (dawes) was blue, blue, blue, never even a yellow flicker. with the stock cal and 2 bar the a/f would always be at yellow at wot at 13/14 psi. assuming the custom cal is running rich?!? but for testing now i want it rich until i can start tweeking after everything is installed/updated.
