I think your turbo will be fine, the flat head motor will flat out not flow much air, no matter how much boost you run, and it will not spin much RPMs and live. I'd say 4500 RPM is REALLY pushing it for a Flat head 6, unless you go with lighter pistons/rods etc...

So what happened with this project?

I'd really like to know because I just got a 1950 230 ci Dodge Flathead for $30bucks last week and had a similar idea. Great minds think for alike.

How strong is this crank really? I can't find any info.
