Hi all...

Does anyone knows were I can find some feed lines for the Holset turbo ?
I want to buy something like a kit to feed my turbo (Holset HY35w) because Im tired of been looking without any luck...

Here I can only see DIY turbo kits for ricers

btw, somewhere I've seen that I need an oil restrictor for the feed line... is that true ?.... according to that If i dont use the oil restrictor the turbo will smoke during the break-in process.

Any help will be appreciated.
My car is a Spirit 2.5 CB 8v head.

Thanks.

use this fitting and a -4 AN braided line: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...=KeywordSearch
A restrictor is not necessary, and turbos dont need any sort of break-in.

so far as i know a turbo has never failed from having too much oil. I certainly dont use a restrictor with my holset, and neither does anyone else i know.
And i would NEVER restrict the oil supply without having a pressure guage after the restrictor. How much boost the turbo can handle before bearing failure is a direct relation to thrust bearing surface area and oil pressure. I would rather have "too much" pressure than not enough.

I should have looked at that manual again before I made my oil drain. O well, I don't think the -16 is going to hurt anything.
