I want to run more than 11psi on my 86 turbo z. How do I move the cut-out to 14.7 like the later model cars? Would a map clamp work? I dont want to remove the cut-out cuz I dont want it to spike when Im watching the road and blow my motor

i just shortend my waste gate arm or made it adjustable the computer will still let you push 14 no problems, BUT!!!!!!!!!! don't go more than 12 with no intercooler or some sort of chem cooling.

What your boost gauge are you using the stock ones aren't very good. What does it feel like? Does it buck and cutout or is it just don't make anymore?

ok, this is what happened. I bought the car, it ran stock psi (7 with spikes to 9). I put the grainger on it and set it to what I thought would be 12 psi on the stock gauge. THIS WORKED for about 2 1/2 weeks THEN it started overboosting. Now whenever the gauge hits the same area that it WAS working before, it cuts out. So WAS my gauge good and it just recently broke or was it bad and my computer just start catching up?

sounds like your gauge is bad! the 4.3v diode was easy to put in for me and stopped the over boost when spiking.

I got a diode on SC that allows me to got 16. I kill the headgasket in no time on the stock injectors. I got some laying around I bought package of ten and only used one.
