for a DD, gas whoring isn't such a good idea. At least not till the white house loses the oil regime. For someone that's built big blocks his whole life, the turbo bug sure bit you.

couldnt be the rods or pistons, all the internals, block, head, head internals came out of the car into a machine shop. Any and everything that went there that wasnt good or repairable had been replaced.

do you have a extra rod sitting around? if so try it on the bearing...it might be the bearing is bigger..which would be the resion why it locks up..

Check your crank journal for any burrs or nicks, same with bearings and rod and cap.
Measure the crank journal with a micrometer and make sure it is in spec, you can do the same with the rod end with the cap torqued. Make sure you have the matching rod cap it should line up perfect without the bearing. After all this, get some plastigage put the bearing in the rod put the plastigage on the crank and put the rod on the crank and torque to specs, now dissasemble and measure the plastigage to see what your bearing clearance is should be. Make sure your bearing clearance is within spec. If all this checks out it should be good. It is always a good idea to check all your rod bearing clearances with plastigage to make sure your clearances are good. You clould even have the wrong bearing by mistake. Good luck.

I checked it over and over again and I can't find anything wrong with the crank, plastiguage says .0017 under the cap

what i'm saying is take the rod off the cranks push it to the top of the bore.. and take the differnt rod and put it on the same bearing and turque it down and try to sping the rod on the crank.....or look at it like this you'll have one really fast 3 cylinder lol JK but good luck

this might also sound kinda stupid but have toy tryed to plasta(what ever its called) the side of the rod? it might only grab on the side of the crank... or you have a bad crank. the one out my mini i had the crank was tweeked just a little bit and made the bearing wear really weird...
