This is my swap list i guess you would call it, i'm gearing up for a TII swap on my 86 daytona turbo Z. i think i have just about everything covered, as this will be sort of a sunday event and hopefully will finish it in one day.

Parts:

Intake manifold-
- rail
-TB w/ sensors and AIS
-Bolts
-Injectors
-Intake Gasket
-valve cover end seals
-Throttle cable and bracket
-injector wiring harness
-Small K&N air filter for PCV breather

Exhaust manifold-
-Notch manifold for #3 intake runner clearance!
-verify TII turbo has a 2.25 downpipe flange if not, find 2.5" downpipe
-Plug EGR hole, no longer needed for TII status
-Replace O2 sensor (Stick with 1 wire sensor)

Turbo-
-TII Garrett
-Temporary non-intercooled charge pipe. (Or fabbed piping w/ dsm side mount for temporary)
-tweak garrett TII turbo coolant lines to fit.
-Manual Boost Controller

Electronics-
-Logic Module from FWD Perf.
-16ga wire (2 different colors)
-2-4 extra LM pins with 6" of wire still attached
-4 wire AIS connector
-Updated TPS connector

Misc-
-Fel-pro head gasket
-ARP head studs
-TII Valve cover???? (I think mine will work right?)
-coolant
-oil & filter
----------------------------------------------------
that should do it right? these are all the things i've gathered from The Dodge Garage, but this car is my DD, and kinda needs to get done on one sunday, i have an experienced person helping me remove the head, my father who has done countless head gaskets on 2.2 and 2.5 dodges, he claims to be able to pop the head off in 40 minutes tops. lol we'll see about that, thanks in advance for any light you guys can shine on this project!!!

Some pointers..

Small K&N air filter for PCV breather - NO! it will cause crankcase pressure issue's, save yourself the trouble catch can or factory setup.

Misc-
-Fel-pro head gasket - Mopar Performance or Cometic... Fel-Pro's are iffy, some have had luck and i've heard more have had nothing but trouble.
-ARP head studs you'll love them, I do
-TII Valve cover???? (I think mine will work right?) yours will work
-coolant
-oil & filter

i only plan on putting the small air filter on the end of the T1 tube that runs from the PCV "T" to the air box, is it the fact that there is no scavenging effect because the intake stream isn't sucking the vapor out? if thats the case how is the catch-can going to be any different?

I have heard that it is best to have a fresh deck surface on the block and head when using a cometic. i dont think i'll ever go over 16-18lbs of boost on this engine, i figured with the ARP head studs and a decent head gasket it would be fine, what does a mopar performance head gasket run, and whats the P/N?

You might get it done in one Sunday if you have air tools, if I were you I'd get a spare head to assemble completely which would speed up the process. Also work on all wiring issues before the swap. The blow thru setup have a straight nipple for the PCV so you will need to cut to curve off you V/C nipple. The advantage to having a spare head is the next time you blow a H/G you can have one prepared to swap in one day.

Yeah, ditch the Fel-Pro and go MP, you won't regret it. Those MP HG's are nice. Cometic if you can...

Some things you're forgetting:
-BOV
-IC piping
-Turbo inlet filter
-Intercooler

BOV= probably use a stock DSM one
Intercooler= wont go intercooled right away, probably wait and find an EVO or SRT4 stock intercooler and then upgrade from there when i need more intercooler
ICPiping= no intercooler, no piping
Have the filter on my TI setup right now

Hey Fiveo-

I would go IC, just get it done with. You won't be disappointed.

By the way, I live in MPLS...nice to see another Mn'er here.
