The really little plastic hose running from the wastegate solenoid to the wastegate actuator is broken into 2 pieces. How do you suggest I reconnect them? The wastegate actuator can has a fair amount of rust on it. If I get the hose repaired and the wastegate still doesn't open, what do you suggest I try?

replace the line with a new one. autozone sells hard emission lines, and the end couplings are easy to remove from the line

Just go with some 3/16 or 1/4" fuel hose. It will handle boost just fine and is what I have been using for years.

BTW: where is Hartland in WI? I should know this....
Nice choice of car also. 91 Shelbys are my fav

I have a bunch of 1/8'' vacuum hose and i want to replace the hose from the wastegate solenoid to the wastegate actuator but I can't figure out how to disconnect it from the wastegate solenoid. There are like 3 areas where a hose could go in, the top one is plugged, the middle one is the line, and the bottom one shows up on the vacuum diagram as a "filter". All 3 are sort of 1 piece of anyone knows what i mean. How would i go about replacing the hose?
