This is the first turbo car I have owned. When you are running at cruising speed is the car supposed to be making any boost? I usually have a little vac when im at cruising speed.

Under normal driving conditions, like going down the highway it will usually be around 0 on your gauge.

i have an 87 shelby z with a T2 setup and it usually doesnt make any boost, only when you give it enough gas. my car idles at around 15 psi vacuum. if you want it to make instant boost, install a blow off valve.

You should have vacuum unless your going up hill or your going really fast like 80 mph or so, but it usually doesnt take much to get into boost considering were probobly only making 80 hp without any boost

Really? 0?
In my van (aerodynamic as a barn door) I cruise at 65-75 mph under cruise , flat road, 10-12 vac.
