haha good for dual setup now if only i had a huge turbo and knew how to put them together lol it has to have been done.... id like to see it if anyone has

Get an S-60 at least. If you want a real turbo that you won't have to upgrade till 350+whp, get a 46 trim To4e with stock turbine wheel in a .63 housing. It will work great with what you have now and give you room to make more power in the future.

this dude seems to have the right ideabut why not run a higher trim?

How close is a TD04 to a T04E? How much power can a S60 support?

Ok, so I have a chance to buy a T3/T4 with the following internals:


The compressor wheel is the Super "S" trim
The compressor housing is the TO4B
The turbine wheel is the Stage III
The turbine housing is the .63


Is this too much of a turbo for my needs?

It's expensive but I would go with a hybrid DBB Garrett GT.

Turbo Calculator

That is a good way to get a rough guess on compressor maps.

The T3T4 is a great turbo. If space is a issue the B cover is fine, but Id go with the E if you have the space. It will supply enough air to support around 400 h.p. They are priced decent, but for additional $$ you can get some newer technology turbos.
