I pulled apart my turbo to clean it up only to find that I can't find the torque specs in my FSM. So does anyone know what I should torque the 8mm compressor housing, swing valve, and center housing bolts to? It's an '88 T2Daytona with an '89 2.5" swing valve.

Just look it up by fastener size somwhere. Regular bolt torque specs are just the max for the particular fastener. Some more precision parts on engines, etc are not necessarily based on the fastener yeild (check to be safe) though so only use this as a rule when it is to bolt things together.

M8 bolts in less than 12.9 should probably be 15-20 ft*lbs.
