i have an 88 CSX-T 2.2 T1,and i am wondering will an 89 T2 computer work in my car and is there any benifit? i have a set of T2-T3 injectors to install, and i already have a manual boost control ,CSX radiator/intercooler, no cat dynomax muffler and volvo BOV. what other mods will i have to do to install the T2 computer and will it be benefical in the car over the stock computer? i am keeping the stock TEO4 mitsu turbo for now.any help will be greatly appreciated.

wire up a air charge sensor...

I'd go with the TII. The fuel and timing curve's are different from the TI due to the intercooler and injector upgrade they reserved.

i heard something about the air charge temp sensor. how hard will it be to add that wiring into the harness? also,i keep hearing there is some internal differences in 88 and 89 computers,is there anything to that info? i plan on later socketing the old T1 computer for later upgrades. i would like to add the TII computer, injectors, and top out the little mitsu turbo (16-17 psi) for now and just drive the car. a T03,bigger intercooler, ported 2-piece intake, and other related parts can come later, along with a 2.5 CB i have stashed. thanks for thr response.

the air charge sensor is just to wires, im sure there is a thread about how to wire it in the electric forum. The TII has some different programing as to what all was changed I can't say.
