probably more boost creep, normally as close as you can get it the better(but for a ball spring type it may not matter as much?)

I would say don't do it. It will not be consistant and the boost reference would be laggy.
Look for something I am working on real soon to adjust from the cabin for under $20...

The Winston valve™ aka W-valve™! Have most of the parts, just gotta assemble and test. I suspect it will be a couple weeks.
