my turbo has gone bad on my 1985 dodge shelby charger. I need one i dont care if it is used. What kind of turbo should i use? does any one have one for sale?

It should be a garret T1 log car. You could try to rebuild the one you got.

the stock turbo where can i get a rebuilt one? I know advance auto parts does not carry them i was shocked.

what about a t-3 t-4 hybrid? is that to much for my motor and trans

Won't fit- the cover is different and its too much for your car unless you convert it to a t2 and intercool it, that would require a new intake manifold injectors, bigger exhaust, computer probably fuel pump too-etc.
You can buy a rebuild kit for $80 from gpopshop.com and have at it yourself.

Stay away from New ebay turbos, from what I have seen they are chinese crap.

well i was going to go t-2 soon but if you think the stock turbo is the best bang for the buck ill take your word for it

That is a T2 turbo you need a T1

turbos
or Reman'd Garrett Turbos the one on the top.
