Yeah, You can get em on eBay...

10x 121.6W Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier Plate TEC Heat - eBay (item 290197661927 end time Jan-15-08 03:54:07 PST)

"Peltier" is the technical name I thinks.

Basically, you give em power to heat or cool one side, and do the opposite on the other. You get the most coldness from one side by keeping the opposite side as cool as possible (air cooling with heatsinks really doesn't work that well, needs water cooling really). Flip polarity and you have the opposite effect. The active side will turn hot and the side getting the cooling will get cold. The warmer you keep the cold side, the more heat produced. My drink cooler, when flipped, will get hot enough where you CAN NOT touch it!

Also, you can heat one side and cool the other to PRODUCE power. I have read that some company has put many of these on their exhaust system and put water cooling to the other to red of the alternators!

Just a bit of info

That looks like a Phord pump? Looking good. Only question is did you put a spacer on the rad and AC core to get the IC heat exchanges off them a little bit? What a riot, bet it spools like a mad man too with the short lines and no restriction of the water to air.

BTW I would run the thin all the time. Run a high amp relay off the battery with larger wire, the use the starter for the relay off the pos of the coil. It takes longer for the water / coolent to cool or heat up. So runing all the time makes it as cool as possible for the bursts of heat from the turbo.

The pump is from ebay, its for a Ford Cobra/Lightning. For the wire connector, I found the bosch style fuel injector plugs (found on an extra neon harness I had) works perfectly.

I will run it most of the time (actually, I dont have it on a switch yet, just running with ignition key on), but want the option to turn it off for say things like road trips to keep excessive wear on the pump down.

The setup right now is off a good relay and is running no problem! Just took it on a few hours of driving, not a problem!

OH, and yeah, I did 1" spacing between the radiator and the 2 heat exchangers. Actually the top one is using 2" spacers, and the bottom one is 2" spacers. Have the rad fan on a switch for a good hot summers day, too!
