Well, after much thought on how I wanted to intercool my beast, yet keep my AC system and still have the capability of high boost later down the line... I ended up this route...

I dont have the water going through it yet... I have he heat exchangers, I just need the pump, wiring, hose, a few T's and Y's and Im ready to go (within $150 now). Just thought i'd show it off.

MAN have I thought of that... I thought of it lots. But then I realized how much more money I would have to put into it and how my tiny battery is already gonna have a hard time with all this.

Its not completely out of the question... but for now, just simple water to air.

(Love my drink cooler / warmer I made though! Might post pics of that later )

Looks good though tell me how your temps are, I'm going to intercool my shadow and was thinking of running the charge hose into the same location the cold side of the IC is and run it ontop the ICto the other side.

I've probably asked before but what part of Idaho? Also what is TEC cooling? A buddy is putting that I/C on his GLHS and plans to put one on his Minivan also. He's gonna run a honda rad where the a/c condensor is I think for the heat exchanger as he found an aluminum one brand new cheap somewhere.

Idaho = Payette, right next to Ontario Oregon and an hour away from Boise.

TEC = thermal electric cooling... you use Peltiers (which is an "electronic air conditioner" that absorbs heat from one side and dumps it on another basically) to chill one side, the heat is dumped on the other and you must keep it VERY cool in order to make it work right. My setup with simple aluminum heatsink and a few fans can make ice form on the cold side in a very short time.

For heat exchangers, Im using 2 tranny coolers, full size, stacked together in front of the radiator instead of a full radiator. Should cool the water plenty well and not add TOO much weight... and was only $80 all together.

doing the same thin on my van. I am standing the IC upright next to the head and running the air cleaner pipe around the IC. Then I am using a Walmart 500 LPH boat bildge pump instead of the lame Ford unit that cost 5 times more and flows less than half. As far as a heat exchanger a welded aluminum performance Honda Civic engine rad fits in front of the van engine rad. Use the fan bolt holes to mount it and run your hoses. The engine rad is cheap on Ebay, $60?
