I have the article in sport compact car about turbo matching. Its all about the compressor. There is no turbine info at all.

Someone must have meant Turbo magazine.... June, 2003 issue. They discuss the new Garrett turbos and have some info on turbine maps. I just haven't the time to sit down and figure it out.

Easy way to read a compressor map is, the bottom number represents your estimated h.p. by adding a zero, the vertical number is reached by taking you boost plus 14.7 then dividing by 14.7. then see where your lines intersect on the compressor map, you can see the efficiency that way....

As has been stated many times, we are talking about TURBINE maps here, not compressor maps.

Tiss Tiss arent your panties in a wad! If you are looking for ford turbo parts and specs, I'd suggest a ford site.

By the way I did a simple yahoo search with "turbine maps" and all the info in the world in at your keyboard. Its not that hard to find....Look whos the smart one now....:big grin:

I know I'm very late on this thread but I don't think the maps are available for the old T-3 Garretts - I tried a couple of times too. If someone has it, I'd love to see it. Basically I was told to look at the exducer. If it is around 1.9", like the dodge or ford - it's good for around 300 hp worth of exhaust air. As with anything turbo, you can make more power, but you are out of the efficiency range and would be better off with a larger exducer. Inducer does most of the work and exducer is the flow - I think

Try turboford.org. I know there was a thread like this on that site about a month or so ago. It was very difficult for them to find any turbine maps, and I am not sure if they ever found the one they were looking for.
