how to hook up a turbo timer??

I have a 89 plymouth voyager and i have no clue how to hook up a turbo timer...im kinda new to turbo dodge & do u have to tap into the ebrake to make it work since its an auto???

I think the E-brake wire is to kill the engine if somebody trys to steal it. I.E. you set the e-brake, pull the keys out, lock the car and walk away as the timer is counting down. Somebody breaks into the car as it is still running, as soon as they release the break to drive away it will shut the engine down. Can't help you otherwise.

did you get one specifically for an automatic or a manual transmission? i bought one of these compustar universal turbo timers a week ago but didnt receive it yet and also it is intended for the manual.
the idea about the e-brake posted by ShelbyMopar89 sounds reasonable.
as for hooking it up, it will help to have a look at several wiring diagrammes, you might want to check out the chilton at autozone:
