T2 Waste Gate Can vac line unhooked

Will hit cutout at 14.7. Make sure you have enuf fuel to support 20 psi before you try it or have an extra motor ready to drop in, pistons only take a few seconds to turn into ashtrays.

yes i do have a cutout riser, i just came back from a run with the can unpluged. in 4 gear at wot 4000rpms it spiked to 18psi setteled to 16 maybe the can spring is weak, but if it were weak wouldnt it continue to fall off boost?

no the spring is not week thats normal you need to place a couple of thick washers behind the waste-gate can bolts.

dont bleieve that the mitsu cans can hold to much back. the 89 garrett cans are tougher. try shimming the can an see what happens.
