Hi all. I recently picked up a Saab IC. I am also going to purchase the DSM BOV. My question has to do with the stock BOV that is on there now. It is a 2.5L t1 89 commonblock. The BOV is connected a hose, from my talks with a fellow TD member, it is connected to either the turbo inlet or outlet, to releive the pressure(am I right so far?). Now my question is, when I am adding the DSM BOV and IC, what exactly do I do with this hose the stock BOV is connected to? Plug it? I'm confused. I hope one of ya'll can help. TIA

Joe

You'll have to replace that hose anyway, so it will be a non issue.

The stock hose "turns around" from the turbo outlet, so it points back at the throttlebody. When mounting an intercooler the hose from the turbo outlet will go towards the front of the car to the intercooler, and the outlet hose from the intercooler goes to the throttlebody. Either of the two hoses/pipes will be a good spot to mount the new BOV.

What type of hose should I replace that with? Would just some normal piping be good or?

Typically you'd use a combination of radiator hose and exhaust pipe.
