Actually it is a T3, the earlier TI's were essentially the same turbo as the TII just with a different compressor housing. Gary's site describes the turbos and tells you how to convert the early TI's to TII status with a pretty simple procedure. And if the shaft play is good like the guys on the auction says, then it should be a good turbo, but if you have a decent wrecking yard around you, and a free afternoon you could probably pick one up for $40-$50.

I think there might be some confusion between the garrett t3 as in t3, t4, or t3/t4 which are types of garrett turbos and the dodge tI, tII and tIII series of cars. This turbo is a t3 but is not from a tIII.

Yhea.. wasn't the garrett used on the T3 (engine) a TB03? And a TB3 used on early T1, and T2 engines? ..........

That should really clear things up, no?
