How did you guys manage to get the wastgate rod hooked back up while it was in the car. I've got a 2.5 w/ a mitsu and i've got the same problem, but i can't get the thing hooked back up again. Its driving me crazy. I'm making no boost.

Heh heh well currently i just pushed it on and i drove it once, it slid down a bit, i fixed it, drove some more, now i think after all the heat it's stuck on for a little bit. Closest thing i'm trying is using those u shaped cotter pin thingys. i got two. ones too big the other would work if i could get enough force on it.

If your referring to just getting back on then you just have to pull out the arm some.

Hmmm well maybe you guys have a little more room in behind between your intake and firewall? I've got a 2.5 in my '86 Lebaron and I just can't see back there at all and can't get it hooked back up. Its driving me crazy haha.

its NOT easy, impossible when its hot lol. I usually grab a gator clip and stick it on there once i get it on. Patience is key.

You can just use a couple inches or wire, wrap around it and twist it. I had that stay for a few thousand miles until I pulled the original T1 engine in my shadow.
