If i put all the vacum lines back to original place will my stock VNT boost to 15 Psi???

The car is completly stock and i am putting it back together. Basically did the vnt cars get 15 psi from the factory?

also where do the vacum lines go that are in the side of the compressor housing? Car's been apart for a month and a 1/2 forget's lots of stuff. one more question , under the hood theres a sticker that says that the timing should be 12 btc whats that meen?

Okay, that's what I wanted to know. Just thought I'd check to see what kind of car you had and if the exhaust was opened up, things of that nature, which could effect your boost. 12 psi is stock for a VNT, though they do spike when you first put your foot into it, sometimes up 15 psi before the computer pulls the boost back down.

On the compressor housing, it's hard to explain the routing, but here's a vacuum diagram for you from Gary Donovan's awesome website!

It is the same as the diagram under the hood of your car, if you still have the sticker.

12 btc (before top center) is where you want your engine timing to be set. Before top center refers to your piston location as the crank turns. Basically with your engine running you want the line on your flywheel to match the 12 degree advance mark cast into your transmission's bell housing. You'll need a timing light to see this. There is a more in depth procedure to check your engine timing, but I assume you already know this.

What i did is put #1 @ top dead center, aligned the cam sprocket, and pulled the distributer then turned the intermidate sahft till the groove in the oil pump was parralel with the cylinders and then put the belt back on and it fired up. How do i get it to 12 btc

well i guess it's not completly stock i just have the 2.25 down pipe with a 10 series Flowmaster , would that make the diffrence
