Garret T1 Turbo price?

Does $150 sound high for a '87 T1 Turbo? Seems a bit steep, but it looks in good shape. It's in a daytona with 104k miles on it.

If you can test it in a vehicle, it boosts, doesnt smoke, and doesn't make excessive noise, I'd offer 100 to 125.

If its out of the vehicle, but feels ok, I'd try $50

If its out of the vehicle, has no shaft play, but doesn't spin freely, it could still be good, I'd offer 25-35.

Any other observable problems, I'd pass.

That's more like I was thinking. It seems the junkyards around here don't know what a turbo is or worth! One guy kept trying to tell me that his "Stiff" (siezed) mitsu turbo was worth $200, easy. I wished him luck selling that one! I did buy a 1st Gen BOV for $20 with the tubing instead

Any idea if the '87 T1 head is the fastburn or bathtub? I might offer $150 for the whole top (with turbo, manifolds, ect)
