reverseing a intercoolers flow????

will this effect one at all?????i have a tbird intercooler out of a 87-88 turbocharged...that im mounting up under the frontend of my daytona shelby z........anyhow the in and out locations would be great for my out and in....basically visa versa.....so will it hurt it to hook it up this way???

nope, the core can flow either way. Unless the end tanks are designed for a certain flow. But I've never seen a IC like that

one end is straight out top and other end is kind of right angled out of end plus a slight 45 degree angle as well....hard to explain but thankx for info it fits perfectly where i have it and i think it will get nailed with air from up under car.....i faced it down as its easier to mount so of course i gotta guard it against rocks but other then this i should be good to go......as long as it runs lol.....i been having smoking from back by turbo not sure if its the leaky oil dump line burnin oil off block or if its the turbo thats newly rebuilt....but guess we'll c sunday since i fixed oil and will have turbo piping done then lol...
