I am planning on adding a T3/T4 turbo to my 1991 daytona shelby 2.5 turbo I, right now i have a TII intercooler, but i have been told that will strangle it and not provide enough cooling for the turbo. I have heard of welding 2 TII intercooler together, but i do not know how effective it is. I have also heard that the porsche 944 turbo has a very good intercooler, only i can not find one for under $280USD. It would be much cheaper to add one more TII intercooler, but is this any good?
thanks guys!
peace

Go with the 2 T2 IC's welded together.

Check out the intercooler section of Relentless Performance
I believe Gary's Daytona picked up quite a few hp from swapping in a 2 core IC.

Yep...I believe a 2 core IC will work quite well for you.

Remember that you don't need to have the whole intercooler in the airflow, just 1/2 will work fine. Of course the more airflow through the better.
