boost fade

This is a boost control issue I have. Car is a 88 daytona ,555 but it has the mitsu turbo. I now have a G-valve and 5th injector boost to 16#. Car boosts great but will fade down to 13# or so in 2nd,3rd, but hold steady in 4th and 5th gear. any thoughts ?Thank in advance.

That's normal. The engine is accelerating so fast that there isn't the same load on the engine as there is in higher gears. A garrett would solve that.

Thanks, I thought that would be an issue with the mitsu turbo, why someone put it on I do not know why.
