Are you looking for the swingvalve (the cast iron portion of the turbo that is bolted onto the turbo and has the O2 sensor in it) that has the opening going down for the 2 1/2" downpipe from an 89+ Dodge Daytona? If so, put an ad in the Parts Wanted section and you may find somebody willing to part with one. Or look for somebody parting out an 89+ T2 Garrett car that has the proper size swingvalve. I have ported 2.25" and a non-ported 2.5" swingvalves and I am not willing to part with either of them yet. Which I take it you are looking for a Garrett, not Mitsubishi turbo.

i have a BF/S dodge daytona and the 2003 nhra national record holder and i am told that the cast iron part of the turbo has a 2.5 opening as opposed to a 2.06 opening and its a bolt up and you cant tell the differance. that you can use the opening for about a 15 hp gain. cat now runs CF/S and runs 14.02 and i know it will do more but i am learning about turbos

You don't even use the proper terminology, you've only got 10 posts here, and you haven't even specified if it's for a Mitsu or Garrett turbo. How can you think anyone here will seriously consider it?

it is and it must be because the tech dept tears the engine down and checks everything on the motor and in the car.. that is what you have to go through to be awarded the NHRA national record

Was that even a question? You want to run the 2.5" swing valve? That's the part that bolts to the turbine housing with the waste gate and the flange for the exhaust doughnut.

The real power comes from the '89 2.5" down pipe, not the swing valve. If you think you can get away with it, you can put on an '89 exhaust system, it goes right into the '87 one without any problems. You can find then on any '89 and up intercooled cars.
FWDPerformance.com
not sure if that will have the proper markings.

If you really wanted to make more power, you'd change out this piece
FWDPerformance.com
again, not sure about the rules.

well in that case you wont legally be allowed to run a 2.5" SV

maybe you can sneak a 2.5" DP by 'em
