I might be the new owner of an 1989 Lebaron Gtc. It has the 2.2L TII Intercooled. As far as I can see it is all stock. What would be the best upgrade path with this car? I am wanting a high 13 sec. daily.

Thanks

Jeremy

Keep in mind, thats a heavy car. Research the super 60 package, that would be a good daily driver upgrade path.

Yeah, but the good thing is, its only the daily driver. Is there a sticky or something showing some horsepower gains using the staged ecu's and other simple bolt-ons?

Not really. A stock engine gains around 7 horsepower per PSI of boost, but once you start changing air flow and other characteristics that goes out the window. Lots of folks list their builds with dyno sheets, so that will give you an idea of what to expect within reason. There's a section for dyno sheets.

Check out Donovan's Dodge Garage and read the section called "The Daytona". Gary Donovan took an '89 Daytona with the same driveline you have and put it into the 12's while leaving it a daily driver. That should get you going in the right direction.
