so i have a quick question i bought a daytona, and when i bought it the prevous owner said that there was a slit in a hose on the engine i have circled it in the pic, can anyone tell me what it is and/or where i could buy one and how much they are. Thank you very much

I've never tried to buy one, But I'm sure it's either impossible to get or expensive.
good news is there is tons of people on this board that probaly have one laying around.
and they litter junkyards all over the place.

Toss a post into the parts wanted section with that picture, pretty sure you'll get a reply.
If not I may be able to come up with an Extra you could have for the price of shipping from Alaska

That is the turbo to throttle body hose, often referred to as the J-pipe (because it's shaped like a J). There's nothing special to it, just a piece of hose that is molded to a shape. You can replace it with anything as long as it fits. You can get one from the junkyard or a discarded one from someone on this forum (because most people ditch them and go intercooled). The problem is they get soft with age and wear, so they like to collapse when you open the throttle. If you do replace it with something else, make a note that the BOV is routed to it. You'll need to make a provision for that.
