12psi is stock, if your getting 8-9 psi, something is wrong. I know on my car that if i have a leak in my IC lines [front mount] that i usually only get 7psi and it has massive lag. Just a thought. Or it could be a vacuum leak.

hmm......i am gettin major lag but as i say its hard for me to tell what the problem is with there being multiple problems like clutch cable etc.....but i will have to check all fittings....anybody know of a way to check glued fittings? soapy water work ya think? and look for bubbles......or any better ways?

i have heard from a few ppl that a propane torch around possible leaks will work. While car is idling (obviously) run the torch along the pipes or vacumm lines, aparently the engine will amke a noticable change in idle if a leak is present and draws in propane. I've never tries it but i can't see why it wouldn't work.

otherwise, take a brake bleeder pump, and connect it to each hose... pump and you'll find your leak(if you've got one)
