okay since ive graingered my car im dissapointed. I thought I would have higher boost at lower rpms but i can't make full boost till 3800rpm in 3rd and 1st and 2nd only give me 10-11psi with it graingered at 14psi in the top of 3rd and 4th and in 5th it overshoots the mark and overboosts...
I thought id have 14psi from like 3k and up in all gears..

I have the vacuum line T'd into my brake booster/cruise line (i think)

tomorrow im gonna go out and replace from the wastegate to grainger and from turbo nipple to airbox/cruise T'd line... also my BOV is tapped into that extra unused nipple on the front of the line that goes to the airbox..

think I have too much on one vacum line?

Try running it from the driverside vac. port on top of the throttle body, it shouldn't be used on a T2 car. You can also t into that one for your bov. That port sees direct manifold pressure. I use that one.

thanks man, I went out today and did it like you said tapped into the drivers side throttle body one. Actually I followed that one and it T'd into the other throttle body line, so I replaced the T with a coupling and now have the BOV and Grainger running off the drivers side (right if standing in front of car) throttle body vacum line..

It works great! I now get 5psi at 2000rpm (whoever said I couldn't get that much BAH!) and full boost at like 3000rpm or something like that (not sure).

today on my way to work ill have plenty of places to watch the boost levels while not endangering other people.

I have it set to 13psi which I see in every gear!

It's harder to dial in this way, quater turn goes from 10psi to 14ish, i have to play with it so I get right below cutout in all gears.

So which hose was it tee'd into? I use the brake booster hose (fat one that goes between intake and booster) for my graingers. Works like a charm.

im pretty sure my cruise control is tied into that line as well, if you follow the vacum source for the airbox ones it goes to a nipple on the side of the turbo...

on a side note driving my car today the cruise control would NOT work, coincidence? or not because I left everything alone dealing with that and actually put it back to "stock" setup...

according to this picture

oh crap I dunno what the heck im talking about... tomorrow im gonna go out and see if I can get my cruise to work but if anybody has any ideas...

Unless you have modified the stock cc hoses, it will not be teed in to the brake booster line. It will have one line coming off the brake booster, and one going to the air box. The line coming off the booster is after the checkvalve on the brakebooster, and will not work for the grainger. The thick hose between the intake and booster is the one I tee into. Leaves a short hose run to the wastegate.
