I poped my hood last night on my car cause i started lossing power, and my turbo and exhaust manifold was cherry red. what could cause my car to do this, someone told me cause i am running to much boost but i am just running stock 9-10 psi. I was thinking maybe i have a pinched or bad coolant line or oil line to my turbo but they are al brand new. Then i was running thinking i was running to lean?? "i have a new fuel filter and pump"
Anyone have any ideas???? I am afraid to run my car to far i don't want to smoke my turbo and or my motor they are also brand new.

I think alot of the log intake turbo 1 cars do that. My '85 SC did that before the T2 conversion. It glowed so red hot you could almost see through it.

It seems that some glow and some don't. I don't know why. Mine never has glowed. I would double check the cam timing to be sure, especially since you said you were losing power. Could also be a plugged exhaust/cat.

I've only seen the turbocharger on my T2 Shelby Lancer glow once. It was because the ignition timing/cam timing was WAY off. Stupid repair shop...

check fuel pressure, because a lean condition can cause exhaust to glow and engine to surge and run poor. Not sure about fuel pressure specs. go here may help>>>>www.minimopar.net/fuelsystem.html

Might even try just replacing the oxygen sensor, they get carboned up and foul out soo easy.
