Largest/best turbo for stock location?

The title says it all. I am looking for the best flowing turbo for an 8v 2.2 liter engine that will fit in the stock location. I have an L-body, so I am not sure about clearance problems with other setups. Any advice or info appreciated. The car is going to be modded to the T. It will be running about 21 psi. It will have all of the usual goodies. Huge front mount IC, 3inch exhaust from turbo back, ported everything, max flow FB head with big valves etc. No expense to be spared. It will also have a hybrid 568 tranny with a quaife and 3.50 FD. Also if someone has the setup I am looking for, where did you get it and do you have a part#? Thanks, Pat

Is anyone running this setup? Can you get this setup with a higher flowing compressor cover and have it still fit in the stock location? I am extremely interested. Also what is the difference between the super 50 and a regular 50 trim? I see the compressor maps are just slightly different. Is one better than the other for our combos and why? I hate to ask so many questions, but if someone has the time I would appreciate any responses. Thanks, Pat

FM sells a T4/T3 hybrid with a comp housing in between a T3 & a T4, though it still requires you grinding the corner of the head for clearance, no big deal. I'm not sure if they offer the super50/50 trim wheel. The super 50 wheel has a slightly bigger exducer OD than the 50, which in turn will flow a little more. Is it better? I guess.

i had the FM Enforcer 2 turbo in the stock location, car ran 11.6's with it..

now I have a T3/T4 Hybird in the stock location, piping it was a NIGHTMARE.. but its jammed in there.

The Super 50 uses an inducer that is 3.20" in diameter while the regular 50 trim has a 3.00" inducer.The maximum output of both wheels is the same (since they use the identically sized inducers), but the Super series wheel is supposed to make boost sooner (i.e. spool faster).

I cant say for sure if it spools faster than the regular 50, but Ive got the Super 50 compressor / T3 stage 3 turbine / 0.63 combo on my R/T and its a very good match.
