can i do this on a stock mits out of a 90 Shadow T1 2.5 5sp
it looks to have a 2.5 right now, i can afford to upgrade turbo or i would do that, so can i do this, if so, how should i go about doining it? will a 3" DP from FWDPerformance fit up to a mits?
let me know, im reaplaceing exhust with a 3" so i would prob rather do this at same time, and it i do, can a DP be put on from bottom of motor, or do i can to pull intake off?
let me know
Rich

yes you can do it no problem but your boost will be uncontrollable...it will creap to cutout no matter what your starting boost is...but i suppose there are worse problems =p

why would it creep to overboost?
if i buy a aftermarket ECU, will it eliminate the overboost?
i already have problems with it hitting overboost before my shift point

it creeps because the pressure differential is too great...there is nothing you can do about it except get a bigger turbo...but is that so bad?

well you can keep your foot off the gas to avoid the overboost ;]...but that's really about all you can do except add a diode or get a custom cal that allows you to see more than 14.7 psi and try to take advantage of the "overboost"
