Is this normal? My van is bone stock, right down to the paper air filter and it will hold a steady 12 lbs of boost. Before I fixed the timing that was off a tooth or two it would only go to 8. Now 12?

Thanks,
Jeff

I thought it was a little bit high as I even have the stock exhaust. I wonder what it will be when I go to a 3" exhaust here soon?

89turbovan. Yea man, my cam timing was a tooth or two off, it had good low end but no top end at all. You should check it.

Thanks guys,
Jeff

checked it tonight not 100% sure its on think it might be off got to pull the valve cover off and line up the holes. Check the plug wires tonight also, ends in the cap are HAMMERED so is the rotor got to change them! Plus i found out the rod from the wastegate canister is rotted away not hook up on the flap. Lots to do yet!!

I didnt pull off the valve cover, I just used a mirror to check.
Your van sounds like mine...in need of some TLC.

Jeff

P.S read here to get the full skinny... good links that I used.

Confused... Van falls on its face at full throttle?
