I cant move the wastegate rod(well whats left of it) thats bad right!? if it is, is it easy to get a new one?

The rod is internally attached to the wastegate can, so you'll have to reaplace the can.

Yes, it's easy to get a new/used one.

thats what i ment to say the can. thanks for the info. is it easy to replace on car or do you got to pull the head off to get to it?

Assuming you're talking about your van, it's easy.

Unbolt two bolts that hold it onto the compressor housing, remove clip that holds it to wastegate flapper (if not already rusted off).

A little tight, but perfectly doable without taking off anything but the intake hose and air box.
