I am going to look into it some more. I just was to rip on the street and FWD means I need more power for the same time compaired to the awd. The plus is, that I will have less rotational mass so from a roll with proper tracktion I should dominate :-)

The AWD was only available with the the 4 speed auto trans and the 3.3 v6. Bell housings are different. There has been some investigation done and with some fabrication I "think" it can be made to fit the 413 tranny. Again if my recall is correct the rear wheels were/are connected to the drive line through a coupling on the passenger side axle, so they aren't even true AWD.

Please correct me if I am off base folks.

The bottom line though is that they were not designed for high horsepower/ torque applications. I doubt they would last long behind a turbo motor.

That sounds about right to me. I was looking at one today and there is no way you could launch on it. Anyone know is anyother cars with the same tranny were awd. I could fabricate the drive shaft and borrow another auto's rear diff and axels if needed. Mostly i need to see if they made a tranny with an output shaft so you can run 4 wheels.

How's the progress going on the S-Vafc? i was doing somne hunting anf gathering and read that the unit will work on MAF/MAP sensors,so you should be in luck,i can't wait to see how this turns out!
