i have 1987 dodge shelby charger w/t-1 (not glh)

am racing rustangs next friday at martin dragway ,michigan.

has "log" intake and k& n filter no exh.mods yet??

how much boost can i give her and keep it safe and usefull???

i have been running 10 pounds using simple bleed....

I'm thinking the upper limit for a log manifold is around 14 psi.

After that, it just "stuffs up" and won't flow no matter how much boost you throw at it ...

thanks much.....i think i will set her at maybe 13 and when she spikes it should climb arround 14.....

i kind of thought i might have a stacking problem on log...maybe this winter she gets a t-2

havent had to replace head gaskets yet......been looking forward to it for about three years

maybe i get the "lucky"mopars

I ran 17psi on my log. 14psi to 17psi netted quite the difference in the ass dyno.

Here is a dyno plot on 17psi log...

Car was stock, with the boost turned up.
